Because it opens the game, this chapter also serves as a hands-on tutorial: it walks you through movement, cover, stealth takedowns, disguises, and Bond's Focus ability before the real freedom of the later sandboxes.
A young James Bond comes ashore in Iceland with no kit and no support, facing a camp held by the Arrowhead mercenaries. Scientists are being held captive and an asset is about to be moved. Going past his brief, Bond pushes in to free the hostages and bring the operation down before anyone can slip away.
The mission runs as a near-linear stealth route through two connected camps. Take it slow — patrols here are forgiving and the game wants you to learn the systems.
- Get off the beach. You start in the surf. Push up the shoreline using the rocks and tall grass for cover, dashing between hiding spots when patrols look away. Hug the stone wall that leads toward the cliffs rather than crossing open ground.
- Climb to the overlook and reach the camp. Follow the linear path up — climb the lighter-colored ledges, shimmy along handholds, and slip through the gap in the rocks until the camp comes into view below. Drop down and move through the grass toward the cabin marked A2, avoiding the two guards in conversation.
- Get inside cabin A2 and grab a disguise. Climb in through the window. Pick up the parka to blend in with the mercenaries, then look over the clues in the room: the engineer's body, the ash case/receipt, and the biometrically locked SMG you can't yet use. Leave through the side door.
- Search the neighbouring cabin (A4). Examine the items scattered here — a radio, a personalized lighter, a patch bag, a torn page, and a rocket launcher. Several of these feed the chapter's optional challenges, so interact with everything.
- Move the BT-65 truck. Use the nearby laptop/control panel to reverse the truck that's blocking the path between the containers, opening your route deeper into the camp.
- Work through to the central camp and find the antidote. Follow the guards through the red door into the decontamination tunnel and the automatic doors beyond. A toxin timer starts here — head straight to the green First Aid crate on the shelving, then complete the injection prompt(s) before it runs out.
- Rescue the captives in container G9. Take the route up over the containers (the zipline/roof approach from F8) so you can drop a guard with a takedown from above. Grab the storage key, clear the room, and free the scientists.
- Rescue the captives in container B4. Cross the gap by hanging along the ledge/bridge, then deal with the guard near the BT-65 control laptop — activating it makes a useful distraction. Optionally sabotage a parked ATV's brakes, then enter B4 through the window, free the remaining captives, and pick up the detonator.
- Bring down the antenna. Climb up onto the roof/stairs and sabotage the mast support cable to drop the antenna — this kicks off the escape.
- Escape the camp. The finale is a scripted run-and-fight. Follow the on-screen button prompts (melee, dodge, and a final detonator trigger) while pushing out with the freed captives to safety.
Detail note: the high-level objective order above is cross-verified across multiple guides. Exact prompts and a couple of optional challenge routes vary by playthrough; those specifics are being expanded.
All four are unmissable — you can mop up anything you skip via Chapter Select.

- Lean on Focus early. The prologue is where Focus is introduced — use it to tag guards and set up clean takedowns. Building the habit now pays off all game.
- Use the parka. Once disguised, move at a normal pace through the camp; staying calm keeps mercenaries from looking twice.
- Distract, don't brawl. The control laptops and environmental noise pull guards out of position so you can slip past or take them down one at a time.
- Grab everything in the cabins. The scattered items (lighter, radio, patch, torn page, launcher) tie into the chapter's 9 challenges — interacting with them all is the easiest way toward the Iceland Outfit.
- Watch the toxin timer. When the decontamination section starts, head straight for the green First Aid crate instead of exploring.
